| Resumo | This work presents the results of survey land occupation, using the spectral band color composition and NDVI techiniques for the Landsat-TM images. The purpose of this survey is to determine the surface characteristics of the Itaipu reservoir region in order to utilize then in a mesoscale numerical model to simulated the local circulation in this area associated with the presence of the horizontal contrast in the surface proprieties. The images based upon spectral band color composition, the classified image and normalized vegetation index technique showed a high degree of agreement. The remote sensing technique and the SPRING used here allowed to associate the major features of the surface of the Lake Itaipu in a grid that can be easily implemented in the meteorological model. |
